Great Instructional!
This has been the best instructional for my game. Aaron does an exceptional job at keeping it simple, clear and to the point. Just under six months ago I fell ten feet at work and landed on concrete. I shattered my right wrist very badly and smacked my head pretty good. I was off the mats for almost four months and returned when I was cleared to do so. My right arm was extremely weak and grip strength almost non existent. I wear a super strong wrist brace and had to change my game completely. Aaron's instructional helped me find success on the mats. My sweeps and immobilizations became almost unstoppable. I'm still working on submissions but have learned to tap people with pressure. Aaron is a great teacher and inspiration to me... It's a huge honor for me to say that. All my BJJ Fanatics videos helps me last the time away. I'm very thankful to be alive and still able to roll. Thanks Aaron and all those at BJJ Fanatics for making it possible. Bernardo you are my hero!
Gold
I have the same disability as Aaron and this content is absolute gold. It’s also great for anyone who is training with an arm injury.
Thoughtful and helpful techniques.
Master class in efficiency
This is a phenomenal instructional. I have studied dozens of digital and physical DVD instructionals over the years and this is easily one of the best. I was particularly interested in Aaron's approach to guard retention and this course did not disappoint! A lot of great offensive and defensive topics are covered as well as a lot of excellent Judo adjustments. Excellent instructional for refining your game and efficiently controlling and submitting your Opponent.
One armed approach to BLL
Thoughtful modifications. These hacks will definitely help me to overcome many age old obstacles. Love the Leg Choke from Back and Scissor Sweep.
Packed with innovative and surprising techniques for everyone
I bought this series knowing it would be helpful for when I am dealing with any hand, shoulder or arm injury, and it surely is. But I was surprised that there is so much more here. I tend to be hand and arm centric in my game, and I am continuously striving to get my legs involved more at all times. This video series shows you how to improve that aspect of your game. LaPointe's hip movement and use of his legs is amazing, and you can get a lot from this course just learning from this. But he also shows very innovative (and sneaky) grips, set ups and finishes -- ones that will help you no matter what your physical ability. There is over 5 hours of instruction here -- a complete game including survival, escapes, passing, defending passes, and submission from all positions. LaPointe's one-arm perspective will most certainly sharpen your game. I highly recommend this course to everyone.
