Bjj is really evolving
Have never seen such guard, easy to learn, boosts guard retention when needed while effort is low. Very nice structure of the course and very clear explanations from Curelaru. Would recommended with confidence, especially if you are a white, blue or purple belt.

I was watching his guard retention techniques against Taza in the trials, and it caught my attention. I wanted to learn and try them out, so I started watching his DVD which he finally released. I'm glad I did because I now understand the concepts better and can't wait to apply what I've learned. The information is very solid, and it's great to try at the highest level.

Curelao Guard
I was a bit skeptical at first but this works actually very well. I’m 37 years old so flexibility it’s not my strongest point but I’ve managed to already incorporate this guard in my game!

After the first 10 minutes I was ready to call my future opponents and apologize in advance 😂 Before this instructional: panic, smesh, no idea what the **** I was doing. After this instructional: “please line up, class is about to start”😂 Sebastian explains things clearer than my high-school teachers — and they only saw me in like 2 classes out of 95 😂❤️ 100% recommend! If I don’t become dangerous after this, it’s on me, not on the instructional 😅🔥

Solid retention
Thought I left this review so here I go again. This is a great addition to supine guard, it literally fills the empty spaces you get with supine and allows for better timing on attacks, but also on game strategy overall. It's a smart guard. You need a bit of flexibility indeed, which can be trained to a certain degree. Great, straightforward instructional.

Great upgrade to supine guard for people with decent flexibility. Fills the empty spaces (literally) of supine guard and creates a super stable frame that can allow for better timed attack strategies. Nice and straightforward tutorial too.
really good retention stuff
you need some baseline flexibility, but nothing insane. With that, a very interesting and unique approach to guard retention that opens top player up to leglocks
