When I transitioned from wrestling to bjj the problem I ran into very early was (thank you Ricky Bobby) not knowing what to do with my hands! With this instructional I now am working all kinds of devastating ways to grip and manipulate the gi to some pretty awesome results. Bow and Arrow chokes are my particular flavor of the month after watching this.

I always get to a near side cradle position bc I have long arms but never knee what to do once I have it locked up. I would just sit and hold the guy but I wasn’t advancing my position. This dvd is fantastic bc now I am hitting loop chokes and some lower body subs. Coach Petrone is fantastic and Vinny is a trooper. One tough kid. Thx coach! 5+ stars.

High level BJJ with an amazing mix of catch wrestling to form the Hybrid approach to grappling. It will test you but if you keep with it the results are amazing. Great fitness, self defense and if you want to compete a fantastic team. I have owned a gym in the past and just started working in this system the past six Months. The results in my rolls are incredible and I am much more difficult to read when rolling on the mat. With the fee to lean!!

This instructional is without any doubt the best one in my opinion when it comes to the concepts of the cradle in the gi. You have an option for whatever your pleasure is. If your position first or submission first it’s here for you. I would recommend that get the no-gi hybrid cradle as well. Prof Petrone gives you a really good breakdown of other concepts such as counters to opponents defenses and other techniques. The beauty of his two systems is that many of the techniques are interchangeable between gi and no-gi. In addition they are a gateway to adding positions, or submissions that you make like as well. The Masterpiece II.
