  Coach John Smith shows everything form the proper stance up to the proper motion to the initial entries and eventually to finish to low and high crotch single. He offers a lot of simple and small adjustments to get the proper footwork done to highly increase the finishing rate. With little modifications also very valuable for Jiu Jitsu. Highly recommend!!

  I once had a conversation with an association of mine who is an award winning coach in high school winning national coach of the year a few times. He saw my son doing the John Smith Low Single and told me it was clear that was my son's shot and to work on it. So I did as he suggested and we dove deep. There is a reason John has like 5 DVDs that include this topic. Anyway, my son started to get very good at it, and it's because there are a lot of drills and finer points of how to get good at this shot that literally nobody teaches. So few months later, he saw how it was going and suggested my next camp should be headed to Oklahoma as my son was really taking to it. And I asked him why doesn't everyone do John's shot? The question would be: Is it that John's shot is archaic and doesn't work? Or is it that nobody bothers to learn all the rest of the work John prescribes if you want to shoot this the way he and his brother did. It became clear to me after watching all of John's DVD's on the low single that there is a mountain of information that nobody knows if they don't dig beyond just the shot itself. I reccomend ALL of John Smith's DVDs. And yes, his methods work, if you have the patience to learn a completely different approach to leg attacks. Henry Cejudo and Max Askren both also claim the low single as one of their essential attacks. Got to be something to that.
