Great instructional . Everything is really well explained. Explanations are maybe a bit repetitive at times but the techniques are really good. He likes to keep things simple, and his techniques are simple, yet very effective. That's the way I like it too.

The moves are so cool especially the toehold and kneebar combo in volume 2. So please practice moves responsibly coz it can really injure uour partner if not prqcticed without restraint.

Nothing fancy, solid counters everybody can implement. I already tried the single leg to clock choke and the modified guillotine and they work, as well as the deep half choke

Professor Silva does a great job of explaining the techniques here as well as showing everything from various angles to make sure that you really understand what's going on. You can tell that he's good at actually teaching Jiu-Jitsu as well as doing it himself. From my limited experience, the list of techniques he's showing are in response to ones that happen a lot (I mean the first entire section is dedicated to single-leg takedowns), and the counters themselves are realistic ones that you don't need to be a gifted athlete to perform. I'm enjoying my purchase so two thumbs up.

I have had the privilege to train with Prof Fred and he is very passionate about teaching BJJ. He actively competes and so I trust the techniques that he teaches as I know he has used them before in competition form. This instructional is easy to digest for all belt levels and Prof Fred breaks down all the techniques and what to watch out for. He makes everything simple to understand and I really appreciate that type of teaching format. I look forward to Prof Fred’s future instructional! I recommend this instructional for all belt levels.
