I think Jason hunt is a great instructor! Very precise explanations and demonstrations! Thank you!
Interesting positions, not the usual half guard game we are used to see.
The first part is not exactly on 1/2 guard, but drive you to a good pass from the position (twist on toreando). Other parts are more in line with the topic, I enjoyed and learnt a lot of stuff. Great instructional
Professor Jason Hunt created an instructional about passing open guard supine position via toreando passing concepts and how to deal with one of the most common defenses - the half guard trap. He covers all common reactions and how to counter/prevent them. First he lines out on which particular goal to focus on during each stage/step of passing and what to expect when missing them. Eventually getting technical solutions to hit the pass. Great explanaitions and a bunch of angles. Highly recommend!!!
I thought I was too dead set in my ways to be able to change my passing system. Jason's dvd added a bunch of new passing concepts to my game. He explains with great detail and although presented as a system, there are a bunch of techniques that can be integrated into whatever style passing you have. I guess you CAN teach an old dog.
Jason is able to break down positions to the concepts which allows an ability to execute the moves on the mat quickly.
Best guard passing instructional so far. My game improved a lot by applying the concepts shown in this intructional. Recommended.
