This is a fantastic foundational BJJ insructional from Bernardo Faria. There is something here for anyone at any level when you consider the depth of instruction. This is one of my main go-to instructionals!

The fundamental technique demonstrations and instructions are easy to understand and follow, with all the detail you need to implement them in class. I've tried a few after watching the videos then had the same technique taught in class and it makes it a lot easier to pick up and try in sparring. What's really underrated is all the 'why' of jiu jitsu that is included. You get a broader picture of what makes certain techniques work in certain situations, and what the goal of any given type of move (i.e. sweeps, take downs, etc.) is and where it should be implemented. Overall I'd highly recommend for anyone beginning their jiu jitsu journey.

Bernardo's instructional will take you until purple to master. Anyone thinking this is only for beginners is delusional. If you practice this instructional from start to finish, you will have a complete game and will surpass any blue or purple belt anywhere. Just ask your local purple if he knows everything showed here.
