These videos are great for people at the start to help them understand things that may have seen higher belts do or have had done on them in rolling. Helps you build an idea of "What can I do here?" and allows you to go back and find out what you did wrong if you fail at something.
As a 41 years old white belt, This is a life saver. When I started I wasn't able to attempt beginners class and having this instructional help me move through the process with ease. It's a solid base for any beginner out there .
This pack has all you need to get started with your bjj enthusiasm, or restart after a little break! Bernardos teaching is great and with these instructions you will be better! One warning must be made! Mastering Theese fundamentals may lead to some more advanced instructionals..
Thank you for providing this 2-part instructional at such a great price! Great for a beginner and I’m sure upper belts too!
Great for a white belt for reviewing techniques
Even if you're in Judo I would say you could take a lot of value lessons from here. Really simple but really detailed and well explained at the same time. Bernardo Faria knows perfectly what he's talking about and how to teach it! Essential for begginers in ground martial arts for the sport aspect, and recommendable for advanced people too in order to review the base 👍
This instructional set is the sort of tool I wish I had when I started at white belt. The moves taught provide a solid foundation for new learners and beyond. Even if you stick with the fundamentals of what he shows, you will be well off for the rest of your Jiu-Jitsu career. Thanks Bernardo!
:)
Worth its weight in gold
Nice
Loved it. Thank you. It allowed me to fill in things that my coach was too advanced to teach. As a white belt, I find that teachers are often placed in an awkward situation of teaching higher belts and providing stimulating content for them but at the expense of fundamentals, which will help lower more novice learners catch up. This video really explains fundamentals so you don't bore your opponents by falling for there basic traps. Thanks again.
When it comes to fundamentals Bernardo Faria and John Danaher are on my list I know the deal is worth it
The basics are the foundation for every great BJJ fighter, everyone wants to do the Berimbolos and flying attacks but nobody wants to learn how to shrimp efficiently, or learn to bridge and hace the fundamentals down in order to get to the next level accordingly, this series give you that advantage, every beginner should overview, and learn this video.
Excellent beginner course on fundamentals.
Great starting content! I am still working through it and integrating what I can into my game.
This has been such a helpful reference tool for me as an older BJJ whitebait (6 mos only)...and just needing to go over the basics that I often forget in class. Bernardo is a clear, friendly and patient teacher to helps you break down moves that you can think through before your next roll! Love it.
Love this bundle. It helped me to understand the Basic BJJ game and to improve my beginner White belt Level. A very nice Start for my BJJ Journey.
As a beginner this video series gave me a great overview of Brazilian jujitsu I really appreciate it thanks and I would highly recommend it to all white belts
Amazing video. I bought this video since I am an orange belt in Judo. I want to learn the basics of Brazilian-Jiu-Jitsu(BJJ). I am a big fan of Bernardo Faira. His strategies are similar to me. I cannot g ad wat to try these techniques when I join BJJ! Thank you Bernardo and Bjj fanatic team
Great introductory tutorials that will help you get an overview on what is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I recommend it so much
The instructional - Introduction To BJJ by Bernardo Faria - is a very good introduction for the complete beginner to BJJ. It goes through important concepts, beginner techniques and then some really important information about choosing a good BJJ school, amongst other important information. This instructional goes for about two hours and will be a good addition for the complete BJJ beginner mostly, however, I'm sure that other more experienced practitioners will also benefit. The instructional - Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria - is an excellent instructional for both beginner and more experienced BJJ practitioners. This is a very generous six part video series with over 5 hours of great instructional material from 5x BJJ Black Belt World Champion, Professor Bernardo Faria. It presents the fundamentals of BJJ, which will help develop a very strong base and foundation for BJJ practitioners. I have a number of Professor Faria's instructionals and find them all to be excellent. In fact I had already purchased this instructional previously, and then I saw it bundled with another of Professor Faria's videos - Introduction To BJJ by Bernardo Faria - so I got it in that bundle too when I purchased them together. This will be a very good addition to any practitioners personal library.
Must have for beginners, covers every position briefly. Also really useful reference point for more advanced practitioners, really useful as always from Bernardo. Oss.
Who is a better instructor than Faria? Quite possibly the best quality teacher. High ranking black belt who never forgets the newbies. Why pay more for both of these when the package is so affordable. Enjoy this series and some of the basic moves once you are ready to learn them. Great work here.
A great primer of BJJ. This video has provided a good path for me to follow as a new white belt. I feel like these are the basic moves that need to be mastered. I book mark specific things I want to work on in class and then shadow roll those moves as drills. Then I’ll work on those in class. After class I’ll write down the results and other moves I feel I need to improve upon. Then I’ll watch the video again and repeat it all.
Good way to learn some fundamental stuff
