Garry's teaching style is amazing and this DVD is such a brilliant way of putting all of the skills together to build a complete game. I feel like this DVD is a secret weapon and has already had a massive impact on my game!
BJJ Fanatics and the videos posted has elevated my jiu jitsu game. I get to learn from all the best like Roger Gracie. I can’t wait to continue learning more and more.
Tremendous, concepts explained and backed up with techniques to illustrate. My pins and subs are much tighter. Love it!
Liked the content very much, great for building good habits.
This course really is like a summary of good habits, You might have heard and done somethings before -but he really highlights the awareness of certain things - and shows why awareness of the thing is important. Its a very conceptual broad course and he really nails it. For me this course really shows the importance of and how to take away bad habits. My bjj are already improved thanks to this course.
I can see the value if working to build habits across many positions in BJJ.
He does such a great job dissecting little details that are very easy to miss, but really make the difference. I will be studying this one for a while.
This instructional really does have habits for highly effective jiujitsu. Lots of small game changing details that’ll make your techniques more effective and can transfer to the mat asap.
This is one of the more unique instructionals I've ever seen- rather than positions, the focus is on concepts and how the habits established for doing one technique well can be easily transferred to another technique. For that reason, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a new beginner, as you have to be comfortable with all the different aspects of BJJ discussed in the series before you can really start working on connecting them, but once you have that understanding, this opens up a ton of new possibilities. It's particularly great if you've watched other instructionals by New Wave members- this course really helps with drawing the lines between different aspects of BJJ and helping illuminate how everything is connected. It definitely helped my game.
A good way to revisit your entire game.
Garry ist phenomenal in explaining concepts and connections. This tutorial can accompany you the whole live. A ten volume masterpiece.
Very valuable concepts and ideas to add to your understanding of the sport. White to black belt, this is worth the investment
Garry Tenon est un élève de John Dahaner donc forcément ses instructions sont similaires à son mentor. Encore un bon instructeur formé par Danaher.
Awesome conceptual ideas outlined in this instructional from one of the best to every do it.
Nice tutorial to enhance submissions through maximizing leverage and wedges
There are so many small details that I picked up all across my game. This is one of the most valuable instructionals I have ever purchased. Well worth the money.
Very good details on jiu Jitsu concepts and principles that can apply to numerous positions and situations. I have all of Mr Tonon’s video series and I’ve gotten the most out of this. Highly recommend this video series be studied and reviewed by any serious practitioner.
I have bought MANY BJJ instructionals in my life going back to 1999, 2000 and I have to say this is in my top ten. I’m all about the key details and fundamentals that make BJJ efficient and effective and this instructional nails it perfectly. Great work professor Tonon.
I have been training BJJ for about 23 years and have to say this is one of the most impactful series I have seen. Garry goes beyond simple explanation of various techniques and goes into the why and how to execute the techniques can be set up and what he's looking to do from various positions. I own most of Mr. Tonon's sets, but I have never met him. Garry really seems to pass on the thought process on how to make your training partner move to set up the techniques. Don't expect a ton of new fancy techniques as Garry spends time on the how to set the moves up and when is the proper time to do certain moves. This set has an expectation that you know a lot of the basic moves and puts you in his head on how and when to execute them. Very impressive set.
This is really unique approach to BJJ instruction. Garry focuses on the principals that make the movements of Jui Jitsu work. It’s a phenomenal instructional for both beginner and expert. I started using some of the principals in the first section of this instructional and my arm in guillotine and straight ankle lock successes rate has gone through the roof!
conceptual and useful instructional that will help everybody(from unexperienced to more advanced grapplers) understand better a lot of positions /submissions/recurrent situations and acknowledge patterns that happen on the mat.
Love that Garry takes a different approach to the information he offers. This isn't a step by step on how to sequence and attack. It's a conceptual look at (in most cases) the physics that makes the most common attacks work. He immediately added value to my game across several positions. Since buying the instructional I've been asked by more experienced people on 3 occasions to teach them how I finish the guillotine. Thanks for sharing Garry.
Garry is a clever guy. Another video where he gives a different point of view. A conceptual teaching style, without being pedantic. Top notch
Stunning instructional TOP!
This is exactly what I needed to revisit and refine my game to take it to the next level. These details are the difference between good and great.
