Wish I could give more stars, brilliant and in-depth from every angle so you don't miss a thing. Section 8 could possibly be better as section 1 though so you understand how to get to the half guard from other position. Still highly recommended though.

This is such a great instructional. Based around the hip tight half guard, which is a super fun way to play. Great explanations of techniques. The first chapter alone, about escaping unfavourable half guard positions, has been priceless.

He works really hard in this instructional
This series felt like it could have been chopped and sold separately... it's a lost of value crammed into one. On top of that Leonardo's style of teaching is the best I have seen. He scaffolds the lesson into pieces that builds to comprehension of over arching concepts. I have purchased from accomplished grapplers several times, but few of them know how to articulate what and why they do what they do. I know Leonardo is an amazing grappler, but he has the heart of a teacher. A part I really appreciated is the detail he gave to the camera... He would show it from every angle then with and without his uke. The uke in this series is good too. I know for me I get annoyed with uke's that don't seem to be part of the lesson plan (******) or are some hot chick in yoga pants. I can't say enough good things about this instructional. Leonardo worked really hard to transfer his apparent knowledge. You will not be disappointed in this series he over delivers over and over!
