Great instructional!
I purchased this instructional after having seen Instragram video's on Arthur's profile. He seemed to have a great pedagogy, and this instructional is here to prove it. His explanations are precise and concise. It is a good thing the instructional is not too long: it makes it easier to come back at it to review some techniques. Looking forward for more videos from Arthur!

Very good and technical Halfguard tutorial. A must have.
Finally!
Been waiting for this. Excellent, clear, perfect to progress my game.
Great details
Love the small important details he focuses on, like the grip on the belt, and the details he often brings up about the safest ways to perform the moves for yourself and for your training partners.
Solid HG instructional
Can't go wrong with this one, covers basics, knee lever and quarter guard.

Fixing my game a Lot, thx
Amazing quarter guard positions
A very common position that you rarely see people talking about is quarter guard. Here is an instructional about the subject. Good positions and strategies.
Really good.
This is a really good instructional. Very important context at the start and some pretty decent techniques on the half / half butterfly. The quarter guard stuff is right on the money.
Best Half Guard Instructional
Just perfectly explained and everything is covered! Thank you for this instructional!
I Half The Power
Great Quarter ,Half & Butterfly Guard instructional video by Arthur "Zika" Chandramohan
A must have for half/quarter guard
This course is right up there with Lachlan's half guard anthology as a must have for guard play. Easily the most accessible instructional I've seen on fanatics. Great combination of theory and technical detail. Combined with Arther's excellent teaching ability, even as a white belt I was able to implement a ton of this material in rolls almost immediately.
Great stuff!
Loved the sections on John Wayne sweeps the best. Viewed the videos and immediately hit a bunch in rolling later that day. Great details.
Awesome!
Really cool take on half guard.

Game Changer
Arther started showing me half of what's in this instructional when I was a purple belt and it's been a game changer for me ever since. It was the techniques in this instructional that gave me confidence to hang with all levels. 8 years later and it's still in my bag.
best metaphors in the business
Arther's an incredibly detailed and succinct instructor who's lessons are always valuable. This course is great for anyone, and age, any level. you will pick up plenty from absorbing it. i can't recommend it enough. There are lots of great fundamentals and plenty of new and interesting ideas to play with.
Ask yourself...
Would you go to a fight without your armour? Would you run into a burning building without your hose? That's what this instructional and Arthur's teachings are. Confidence boosters to up your game and get the most out of training. Would highly recommend his technical style of teaching. He sees the game differently than a lot of JJ players.
Half/Quarter Guard New To Me But ...
I love Arthur's teaching style. He breaks down complex (for me) movements in ways I can understand. For years, half guard has been an in-between position for me, while I try to get to closed guard or take the back. I'm starting to see now that there's a whole world here, and not just for the nimble ninjas, but also for middle aged / less athletic practitioners. Arthur gives tips to make this game work for less flexible people, and shows you details to maximize your leverage, while keeping you and your partner safe. He's one of my favourite instructors. Even though I'm often late, I will often travel 1-2 hrs just to learn from him. Highly recommend this course, and if you're ever in Toronto, highly recommend training in-person with him.
Great instructional
Very detailed breakdown of the mechanics of not only the "how" but the "why" for workng these positions and the options available. It's worthy of note that the movements do not require a high level of athleticism. The saftey tips are gold as it brings awareness and attention to avoiding injuries to yourself and your partners as a lot of injuries that occur during training are unintentional.
