• Best sequence I’ve learned in 15 years of BJJ

  As soon as I started to do this, an entirely different game opened up for me. I let people pass to use this, I let people go to almost any position in order to use this, and I use it every time I’m on the mat. It’s opened up new entries and confidence in an escape route few play with. Jeff’s teaching is top shelf. After about a month of using this on everyone, we brought him out for a seminar, which I highly recommend. He’s a great teacher, innovative and unafraid to rethink how we’re “supposed” to do something and traditional Jiu Jitsu. This is the escape I use and teach most. The rare times I don’t reverse, I end up some great open guard positions. I’ve put myself in some dumb positions doing this and used it to work myself right back out of them. I can’t recommend this enough and am always surprised I don’t see more using it.

  I really enjoy how Jeff teaches. You can tell he enjoys the art and enjoys teaching the techniques. He shows you a concept and then how to apply it in many situations. Eventually you see the concept naturally.
