  The instruction is very good. Great content. The only negative point about this video is that both the instructor and the partner are wearing the same colors. At times it's hard to see who is grabbing who and where they are grabbing. They really should wear contrasting colors. The camera angle should be more dynamic too so the details are easier to pick up.

• A nice overview of how our sport BJJ techs can be retrofitted to self defensive techs

  This is a great set where I can see Eli (who's videos on Youtube are always very well presented and taught) shows how regular sport BJJ techniques can be adapted for self defence scenarios - against an aggressor who doesn't care about 'rules' and is liable to punch, kick, bite, headbutt etc. The techniques he shows are fairly simple and easy to learn and adapt, a couple of them seem very different to the standard self defence techniques taught under the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu system. A couple of the also seem a bit more complicated than necessary. One big criticism I have is that Eli and his demonstration partner wear exactly the same clothing and that clothing is very dark - it makes some of the techniques hard to make out. Please wear opposing colours and make them lighter guys! Apart from that., a solid set of techniques that will compliment your regular BJJ sport training.
