It is always worth learning from Bernardo. He didn't become a four-time world champion by accident.
This course will definitely add concepts and techniques to your Jiu-Jitsu defense game. You can buy it without fear.
I have watched a couple Bernardo videos. Each has been easy to follow. He let you know why you are doing each movement.
I like this bjj instructional format with questions and answers.
Awesome content and it’s awesome Bernardo gave an instructional for free
Muy buen video para recordar y aprender
Instructional is well paced for Masters and detailed.
Very detailed and simple ways to escape.
Bernardo always gives such great examples and practical techniques that work together in a coherent system. Each video within a chapter builds on the last one so you have context. Really great instructional.
This instructional goes over a ton of different positions and submissions from those spots, and how to deconstruct the submission in order to create a defense. With most of the submissions, you either get multiple options based on reads your opponent is giving you, or you get multiple stages of the defense (for example, defending an armbar when you're defending well or when your arm is already isolated). There's also an old guy there to ask the questions you may have. The only minor thing I had with this video is there were a few details that I missed because of the angle chosen. But with most of the techniques and most of the details, they make sure to give the right angle so you can see what's happening. I've already leveled up my submission defense from this video series. And I've learned some things about the submissions themselves by reconstructing them. Overall I'm very pleased with this instructional!
It was great to see Bernardo Faria in his “I am a world champion” mode. He is still incredibly cordial and nice, but we should not mistake his humility for lack of ferocity! He is an excellent teacher and I learned a lot. Good to see some gi specific escapes as well.
Great video especially guillotine escape
I love this series because everything he does is very basic and will last you your entire Bjj or judo journey
Great reference for escapes.
I can escape better from submissions.
Great video good instructions
Great video one mine I constantly refer back to
Classic Bernardo giving us a great instructional about submission escapes, but this time for old guys that are less athletic than the young athletes.
Very useful for old grapplers
Covers a great delanorbauedul stuff. Bernardo really knows his stuff so you can’t go wrong with any of his training vids anyway
Just got back into BJJ after a LONG break, and these videos helped me to remember a ton and to adjust my game to the idea that I'm an old guy now!
Love the whole Old Guys series from Bernardo,
