• Great instructional. Mid editing from bjj fanatics

  Dima is an s-tier instructor. This one gets into the, “why,” and, “how,” of the overhook. These general concepts allow you to apply the techniques in a chain, which is essential to making them work. This leveled up my wrestling game overall, not just in the overhook department. Highly recommend getting this one. The only slightly disappointing thing is on the editing/production side. There are mislabeled techniques. There are doubles of certain techniques that were clearly filmed twice for the sake of getting a better take. But because of laziness and lack of quality control, both takes were included. Also, there’s a point where Dima references a previous technique that clearly didn’t make it onto the Final Cut of the video, because it’s not actually included. Unfortunately, this is the kind of thing that you can expect from every instructional you purchase on this site. It seems like it would be easily solved by sending the Final Cut of the product to the instructor for their approval before release. Or just having an employee watch it all the way through to check for common mistakes before release. But this is something that bjj fanatics has never taken the time or money to do. At least they fired the guy that breathes super loud right into the microphone though. Little wins I guess…
