Helpful details and good series of passes. Some might be difficult for short, squat and inflexible body times. Also, I'm spoiled by longer instructionals, this one seemed short. Would have given 5 stars for some narrated rolling footage or comp matches. Def recommend and helpful for no gi.

This instructional has really helped me develop my loose passing game, I've always relied on pressure to pass but after watching this I've realized the benefits of having another dimension to my passing game. Some of the techniques are pretty high level but nothing practice and consistency won't solve. Ethan is a great instructor and the B-team are a breath of fresh air in this community which I think takes itself a little to seriously at times.

How to stay away far enough to not get got and be close enough to geneerate kuzushi and connection to guide your opponent in the directions you want to pass his guard. Broken down in a simple manner and with the proper amount of info to get it done soon after watching the instructional. Highly recommend as an additional passing method for no gi for older grapplers too.

Ethan's instructionals are the most detailed and high level stuff I've seen on the internet. If you are a beginner this might not be for you but purple belt and above this, and his advanced passing is what you are looking for.

Ethan's loose passing system has added to my game tremendously. Ethan is to the point with the ideas and methods you should be using when loose passing. Before this instructional I exclusively used tight passing and body-lock passing. After having watched, studied, and drilled this instructional my preferred method of passing is outside/loose passing. How does this compare with other passing instructionals? I own and have gone through Danaher's New Wave guard passing instructional and it is very good with taking someone who knows nothing about passing and teaching them what they need to know. Ethan's instructional is shorter but that is not a bad thing. Ethan teaches strictly on loose passing with his personal twist and is very straight forward with his information he brings to the table. Owning 20+ instructionals, I can confidently say this is one you should to pick up if you want to expand your passing game.
