Amazing
Absolutely great instructional for all different levels. Very easy to understand and adapt into your style.
Very useful information
We all know Liam's the man. Power Muay Thai is well thought out, from very basics to some good intermediate/advanced techniques. Liam really does a great job of making it simple. No fluff and jargon you can't understand. Also a shout out to Andy, his assistant in this series. He did great.
The absolutely best
This instructional is well named- Liam Harrison does provide a broad fundamental overview of Muay Thai, but the clear emphasis here is on aggressive, offensive techniques. Even the sections on footwork/defense are presented with the angle of setting up counters and retaliating. For this reason, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for absolute beginners who aren't comfortable sparring yet, but once you've progressed to the point where you're comfortable with taking a shot or two and throwing back (maybe 6 months in or so?), there's a gold mine of useful information here.
Excellent resource for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of the sport. His clear communication and attention to detail make the techniques easy to understand and apply.
Pretty metal.
Great instructional
Liam teaches some great fundamentals of striking and defensive skills, punches, kicks and clinch. Awesome 👍
One of the best Muay Thai fighters of his generation and fought the rest of the best. Goes from basic to more advanced techniques. Perfect place to start
Striking and No Gi Judo instructionals are a coin flip in reliability, this one is worth the "gamble". Liam is a wonderful fighter, and gives thorough, yet concise explanations of techniques demonstrated. This has fundamentals, footwork, advanced feinting, clinch work, sweeps/dumps, and the unspoken element of striking; defense. I've watched the 2nd DVD twice, and I'm a striking coach (for perspective purposes). Highly Recommend and I'm a tough critic as most know ;) cheers
