This is my main pass and this instructional is awesome , I've got Bernardo's other 2 on over under passing but this one remains my favourite, there are a few updated details on newer ones but can't beat the original
Pressure Over Everything—Finally, an Instructional for the Over-40 Smash Crew Bernardo Faria’s Pressure Passing Encyclopedia is basically the holy grail for guys like me who aren’t cartwheeling into guard passes or posting highlight reels on Instagram. I’m 50, I like to smash, and this series gave me permission to be heavy, slow, and unstoppable—which honestly feels like a superpower. Bernardo’s passing game is built on pressure, patience, and soul-******* top control, and he walks you through everything with his signature simplicity and positivity. You don’t need to be fast—you just need to be deliberate. And heavy. Really, really heavy. What stood out: Techniques that work with gravity—not against it (thank you, Bernardo). Clear explanations that make pressure passing feel accessible and effective, even if your flexibility retired years ago. Great details on using over-under, double unders, and shoulder pressure to turn your opponent into a yoga mat. You’ll feel more confident passing than ever—and your training partners will probably start avoiding rolling with you. If your goal is to pass guard and make people question their life choices, this is it. No fluff, no flying nonsense—just pure, soul-melting pressure. Highly recommend for anyone who likes to keep their jiu-jitsu simple, brutal, and effective—especially us "experienced" grapplers.
