I've been following Vlad for years. The interviewed I did with him in 2021 for my Takedown Confidence Summit was one of my favorites. No one is better at combining Sambo tactics into Jiu-jitsu.

The strength of Sambo lies largely in how competitors transition quickly from throws and takedowns into submission. This video series explains many options for feet to submission combos. The lesson are conscise and clear.

I started in judo when leg grabs were the bomb so I really enjoyed this DVD as now I do more BJJ and just like Vlad prefer to throw or takedown instead of pulling guard but enjoyed also that way of entering to single X because is something so simple but can get your opponent by surprise. I am just giving 4 stars because I wanted more georgian grip and Te Guruma or Bokovoi Pereborot stuff but the material is excellent , I am just being a little bit personal, is not a bad critic.

Vlad is an excellent instructor. This video is a nice collection of techniques, taught in a very easy to learn way. I highly suggest picking this video up, you'll definitely learn from it. Can't wait for his next video to come out on BJJ Fanatics.

Great video! Coach Vlad Koulikov is easy to understand and explains the techniques well. I have a black belt in Judo already but I am adding some of his grips and positions to my grappling game. Well worth the money.
