Good for basic concepts
I am used to John Danaher and Gordon Ryan's instructionals so this does not compare in terms of details and depth of knowledge however I am a fan of the Ruotolo's aggressive style and overall concepts and tactic's may be better suited to fast aggressive scramble style jiujitsu as they employ over precise details which may be better suited to slow methodical controlling jiujitsu like John Danaher teaches and Gordon Ryan employs.
These Guys are Good
It was a good course but not for me. The way they spin out of heel hooks makes me shiver thinking I could shred my knee. If you try it start slowly. I'm sure it works though. These guys are really good.

Improved my defense during live sparring!
I've always had trouble escaping leg entanglements during training. The techniques in this instructional have allowed me to escape leg locks or at least not get submitted and put pressure on my opponents until I can get to another position. If you can become efficient with the concepts in this instructional, your leg lock defense will definitely be solid!

Very informative. Very well laid out. Another great release from bjjfanatics and the many great grapplers they are able to work with.
The Rutolo Brothers are currently at the highest level.
Not only does it cover the most effective defense against leglocks today, but it also covers defenses and counters against the latest and most popular 'False Reap'. This is an excellent Leglock Defense DVD.

These young guys are continuing to take jiu jitsu technique to another level! This is not my favorite escape instructional yet but I’ll spend more time with it for sure.

Even if you don't use leg locks, you will need to know how to avoid/defend them. Material here can at the least help avoid injuries caused by some of the overly enthusiastic leg lock novice.
