Learn from the most exciting grappler on the scene! His style is fantastic and this breakdown is superb! Thanks Garry!
jiu jitsu guys tend to be weak on takedowns, but Garry does a great job of showing techniques that will work well for a jiu jitsu player and directly go in to submissions. He covers a lot of different take down styles so you can pick and choose what you like. An instructional that I reference back to frequently. 10/10
Best wrestling instructional for grappling hands down.
Great instructional covers technique to avoid the guard after a takedown. My personal favorite way to pass the guard is to avoid it.
Really Cool Stuff! Gary does a great job implementing jit jitsu and wrestling concepts and scrambles in this instructional!
Oss! Oss! Boa! Muito beim!
This video series is a game changer, mix your submissions and BJJ with wrestling to create the best nogi game around. You can control where the fight happens, get up if needed and submit.
10/10 Anyone interested in bringing more wrestling and a bit of judo to their game would do well to check this out. Alot of content for the price, top notch instruction.

Shoot To ****: Wrestle, Scramble, Submit by Garry Tonon -Gary (DDS) explains his system for winning grappling matches on his feet and landing in position to finish the fight by attacking opponents with a submission-specific approach. Gold
Very clear and understandable instructions from Garry Tonon. What i have learnt so far has helped me so much. I look forward to mastering all of these moves and adding them to my game.
Some really nice pointers here.
This is FULL of amazing ideas for scrambles which I've used to surprise my training partners in MMA and Bjj
Loads of content, excellent
If you want to increase your leg attacks, escapes and counters buy all of Gary Tonon instructionals! They are tremendous and he is a great teacher.
This is one of the greatest instructionals I have ever seen. Great details, good jokes and even greater technique. Must buy
The man himself displays some great technique beginning with the basics of takedowns. I think anyone of any level could benefit from this instructional. Also, it helped that Garry throws in his sense of humor here or there to help keep my incredibly small attention span.
Great details and a lot of useful technique
It is incredibly easy to find wrestling or BJJ instructionals, but this is the very first time I've seen both integrated together so seamlessly. Gary lays out a plan of attack that factors in what is rewarded and most effective at the highest levels - exposing and attacking the back, attacking the legs, and flying submissions that can end the match instantly. He is clearly very knowledgeable and you will never run out of content to drill with this series.
You can never go wrong with Garry Tonon. He has the technical focus of John Danaher, but brings it into a practical setting very quickly and doesn't get boring. I'm really enjoying this one since I admire his standup ability more than any other jiu-jitsu competitor.
Was really surprised at how good this video was and ended up buying all his other videos and enjoying them equally as much. All Gary's videos go so well and act as a quick summary of all John Danaher.
Simply awesome.
