Solid techniques and thoughts from a legend
Fujiwara-sama is an absolute legend in the world of shoot-style wrestling and mixed grappling in Japan. He trained under another grappling legend, Karl Gotch, and has enormous influence as a trainer. The man knows his business. The instructional itself isn’t long but is packed with less common ideas and techniques, such as hidden wrist lock transitions, “defense position” attacks, and Neck cranks & foot/ankle work. Although I think anyone can glean useful details from the instructional, folks with a few years of grappling experience will get the most out of this nutrient-dense video. Also, although Fujiwara-sama instructs in Japanese the translation is good and clear. Highly recommend.

Inoki's Mat Enforcer Shows His Tricks!
Fujiwara sama is one of the two men directly responsible for the creation of the MMA as we know it. As Inoki's mat enforcer during the dojo challenge match days of the 70s and 80s in Japan, he was the last line when Karate, Judo and other martial artists would come into the New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo (新日本プロレス道場) looking to prove their toughness. He also formed part of of the split off UWF, reborn UWF - which created stars like Akira Maeda, Satoru Sayama (Tiger Mask and created Shooto), Kiyoshi Tamura (beat Renzo Gracie) and the legendary Gracie Hunter Kazushi Sakuraba and PWFG that later formed into the second legit MMA organization Pancrase. While some of his techniques are legitimately "earlier technology", there is still so much to learn here and looks that you can't get with any other instructor out there. This isn't for everyone, but more experienced grapplers will find much to learn here.

good content
not the best editing some segments are mislabeled and some repetition between volumes.
Time Capsule
This is dated but valid advice. Some of it is going to be illegal in BJJ comps but if you're interested in Catch, MMA or self-defense, it's a fine buy :)
Shoot Fighting Submission Systems
Excellent. This shows some very unorthodox submissions for grappling.
Fujiwara is a legend!
Although the quality on the video itself is definitely a tad lower than some of the other more official BJJF stuff the technique is solid and Fujiwara is worth your time!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:There is some good stuff here
This instructional shows some pretty good ideas for submissions and catch wrestling. It is pretty comical to watch this old Japanese man basically torture the guy with these moves. I couldn't help but laugh at times. He shows simple methods of gaining compliance.
great additional tech
great technique :ok_hand:

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great Tips From A Catch Legend
Some sweet info from a student of Karl Gotch. Concise explanations with enough detail to make everything very useable. Very entertaining and educational.
