Great video. I like everything from Matt
An excellent Instructional, a good adaptation of Judo for BJJ
Love Matt’s Stuff! Always simple. Always effective.
This instructional teaches a lot of good judo takedowns. Really helpful if you mostly work on wrestling takedowns in class.
Must learn judo moves over for the bjj practioner
take down is most difficult skill to me. this video teach me how make easy take down. thank you
Great series for learning some basic Judo takedowns for BJJ!
great
Sensei Matt D'Aquino did a great job in modifying traditional judo throws for jiu jitsu by considering the common stances you have to expect and also how to deal with when your oppinent forces guard pulling. He also iffers gripping strategies and gives great follow ups for guard passing and some finishes. He points also out teally well what actions/reactions you have to be prepared for within the different scenerios. Highly recommend!!
This is an excellent instructional for bjj folks who are not familiar with Judo.
Great stuff!
Matt is clearly a master of Judo however I think a lot of the techniques he teaches in this instructional could only be pulled of in competitive BJJ if you have world class judo or if your opponents takedown defence is clearly lacking, to his credit he does mention when the techniques are low percentage or higher risk but that seems to make up a good portion of the content.
Great judo for bjj
Matt is wonderful teacher! This instructional covers some great easy to learn throws that you can apply right away. Definitely will help improve your stand up ! Highly recommended !
Really great content in this....
Great detail and content to all the moves on this set, more importantly the why of the moves are included. The applications of Kuzushi for the throws can be easily incorporated into your butterfly guard/sit up guard game and De La Riva. Coming from New York City, most schools start from sitting due to lack of space and overcrowding, if you invest the time your will be easily be a step ahead for your next tournament. So, if your looking not to be a just another guard puller highly recommend this set. Thank you hope to see more content soon.
Matt is an amazing teacher. His instruction is clear, he includes the important details, and he also does a good job of outlining when to use the techniques. All of the moves he displays are applicable and are mindful of the differences between judo and BJJ. Definitely worth buying. I highly recommend it.
