Excellent instructional video one of the best a lot of detail
He does a really good job organizing info in a way you can understand and use.
Best instructional.
incredibly detailed
Extremely detailed with far more content compared to other instructionals
Only watched the first volume so far and it has answered so many questions on issues I've been having for a couple years now. Very happy.
The details provided and the clariety in which they are delivered makes it much simpler for me to begin to play with it and implent to my game.
Useful nogi guard solution.
A must have for nogi. As a Gi player I would always pull de la riveia guard and play off my back. Without collar and sleeve grips I’m forced to play seated guard if they don’t engage. This gave me a compete seated guard system to proactively take fight to the opponent no matter what posture they have (standing, two knees, etc). Also a great compliment to his half guard instructional. Really learn the ins and outs of attacking from the bottom sitting up.
Great Instruction and Detail !
Great instructional for building an open guard. If you watch Gordon in competition, he uses all of these moves.
This has really helped my game around. We do almost all Gi grappling, but the fundamentals and techniques he teaches here translate perfectly. The little details explained here turned failed positions and sweeps into successful ones. Definitely recommend it.
If you are not trying to learn from the best in video format, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Changed my entire view of open guard.
Very detailed and easy to follow instructional.
Gold
I purchased this instructional and was blown away by the creativity in movements from Gordon Ryan, as well as his clear, easy to understand style of teaching. Purchase this...it is game changing!
Just like the supine guard dvd this is another great instructional and honestly should be bought with it
I found instant success as a blue belt and purple belt after studying and taking notes on this video series. Gordon's explanations and demonstrations are easy to understand and watch, which made it very easy to find success using the concepts and techniques explained in these videos.
If you don't have this instructional already, you're wrong. This will turn your guard game into something so aggressive, so slick, that you cannot help but strike a little bit of fear in your opponents.
Well and systematically explained, highly recommended.
Gordon Ryan is one of the most teachers in today's BJJ. I learned a lot from this young man.
Great stuff! Very systematic and good details.
This instructional is very informative. Instantly increased my overall bjj IQ ten fold. It no wonder that Gordon is the best in the world.
This instructional has significantly improved my game due to the attention of detail that Gordon has
