I really love the way Gordon starts with goal setting before going into detailed techniques. Really helps me understand what I wanna do when I'm in seated guard.
Very well organized.

Excellent strategies and explanations on open guard
In this instructional Gordon will educate you on how to properly deal with your opponent, how to pressure them from bottom to make them play your game. This really opened my eyes on how to play open guard and making my opponents play my game. Would highly recommend!
great
Excellent content. Theres year's worth of study available here. Along with the expert level specific techniques, Ryan breaks down the various positions of seated guard and gives clear goals and principles to guide you. While it may take time to master the specific techniques, absorbing the principles and goals of the positions will lead to a quick improvements on the mats.
The great video
I had already experienced some success with Gordon Ryan's sumi gaeshi from watching YouTube videos , and was able to pull it off against higher belts. This instructional took my butterfly guard to a whole other level, with important details on Gordon's signature shoulder crunch sweep and arm drag series.
