Great instructional on passing various guards with pressure!
I was readily able to use the techniques in my rolls against all belt levels and have success. Typically I’m an outside or standing passer. I’ve learned that effective passing can come in different flavors. Loved learning from a legend like Jake Shields!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but this passing instructional was clear and to the point. I found it easy to add to my game immediately.
Great info on passing from Jake Shields. I really like his style of passing, and he explains his system very well.
This content is extremely accessible and has very high value for repeated viewing. I was able to immediately apply these techniques to get taps on clear belts at my local gym; and the material has given me more avenues for defending against knee shields, sweeps and other techniques from upper belts.
I'm ready for more!!!
I know these will work, got to try these details
amazing system + pressure for days!
Bought this as a recommendation from my coach. Was easy to understand and has now become my primary way to pass open and halfguards. Thank you!
A very nice passing system that I look forward to integrating into my game.
Very nice passing system that I look forward to integrating into my game.
A pretty good look at guard passing using pressure. Pretty good job of clearly explaining the techniques which can be difficult to do with pressure passing because it is something that is easier felt than said.
Great stuff
Jake is a great instructor and I found his moves very practical and effective. I find myself using the Nick Diaz pass and the lockdown leg swisher quite a lot since. Recommend purchasing, even for white belts.
I have always been a fan of Jake's American Jiujitsu style. He shows very simple, yet affective passes that are easy to understand.
Love the passing system and the breakdown of it. Jake does a lot of things just a little different, since he is pulling from various styles.
I love the pressure Jake uses for his passes, great instruction with just the right amount of details.
He has one of the best guard passing systems around. I love the high pressure style. My coach did not like me doing the can opener in class, but I'll keep that in my back pocket.
Jake shields was a top MMA fighter when I started watching the sport and his ground game had the respect of everyone he fought. Feels good to be able to learn from someone like that
Jake's pressure is effective. Training partner looks very painful.
Excellent instructional.
This instructional is excellent as it shows detailed & effective passes for all types of guards in relation to nogi. A total must for any nogi player or MMA fighter.
I have been able to utilize the information in this video series to help pass guards!
Great detail
