Danny and Nick are both great instructors and this video is very well structured. The position offers a variety of arm attacks, leg entries, sweeps, etc. You will add some new tools to your game and have a lot of fun with this position.

It's the choi bar
From the description of this wasnt clear that by arm saddle they mean choi bar, I could see in the video it involved the choi bar, but the arm saddle is literally the position for the choi bar; however with that said like most of their instructionals it is very well taught, innovated and problem-solved.

Great system that goes beyond the arm saddle
This is an excellent instructional. As a black belt who has been playing with Choi bar variants and studying footage on it for about 6 years, I am familiar with most styles and I think Danny and Nick teach a very good system here, complete with entries, transitions, and troubleshooting. The second volume is a great course on the no-gi lasso (popular with many European athletes), which I’ve been meaning to learn but had not had a chance to study yet. For me, this alone was worth the purchase price; it would have taken me a lot of hours of film study and trial-and-error to gain an understanding of this style of guard control. Finally, Nick and Danny are excellent instructors. For me, they strike the perfect balance of creating a comprehensive instructional with advanced details while also keeping it succinct and organized. I highly recommend all of their instructionals, not just this one.
