Great half guard instructional
This is the only instructional I've seen that focuses on the single leg half guard with the lapel trapping the leg and that keeps everything really simple.

Very simple yet effective techniques. I really liked that Bernardo shows multiple variations for each sweep based on what the opponent does. I also appreciate the videos of him rolling with resisting opponents, it puts things into perspective, especially how hard you sometimes have to work to get into the right position.

Throughout my fist years of training BJJ, i didnt have a systematic approach as is more regular today. After beeing away from BJJ for about one year, and not having a system i picked up this instructional together with Battle Tested Pressure Passing to get me started. I had immediate success both in competition and in training and it has been my base for expanding my game and developing for the last 4 years. The system Bernardo teaches is easy, straight to the point, and will get you sweeping and passing in no time. Now, a 3-stripe brown belt closing in on my black belt, owning and going through many instructionals, I can easily say this has been the one that has impacted me the most.

This half guard works great whether you are athletic and flexible or not. It is very simple to learn and easy to apply.

A go to for bigger, unflexible, older guys. Simple and straight forward techniques (flexibility and athleticism are unnecessary). Really liked the single half sweep with the lapel folding (nearly unstoppable once is set)

Bernardo's half guard is my go to game as an older grappler (47 year old purple belt). This really works! This ereis (as well as the no-gi version) has revolutionized my game and I recommend this series to everyone who wants to have an efficient game.

Mr. Faria does a great job of filing in some holes I had in my half guard game. I’m 43 and began my half guard journey at White Belt as I believed it was the best choice for me giving my age and build. I’am Currently re-watching the instructional and implementing what I am learning on the mat. Very good instruction and I believe it will help take my game to new levels.
