The Half Guard anthology by Lachlan Giles is superb when it comes to giving many options playing the Half Guard game. It is a large instructional video series with multiple volumes that give detailed, easy to understand information that will help improve your Half Guard. Takedowns from the Sit Up Guard, Sweeps from Half Guard, Some X Guard. This series is deep you won't be disappointed.
This is the best half guard instructionnal you will get!!!! Just awesome
If you improve your guard passing, I reccomend you it.
Excellent!
Lachlan is a walking bjj encyclopedia. My passing game improved massively. I wish him to visit South Korea someday for a seminar. Oss.
A great guide to passing half guard.
Lachie Giles is one of the best instructors around and obviously passionate about teaching. I’ve been going through the instructional slowly and have already been able to practice some of the components with good degrees of success.
Excellent content from Lachlan as always. Very well thought out, detailed instruction that is easy to follow.
Great instructional! HG passing game has improved tremendously.
Lachlan Giles is an excellent teacher, and has a real passion in transmitting his knowledge the best way possible. This dvd is not just a succession of scenarios of guard passing, but more like a way of understanding this art with the maximum science possible. There is also ways of consolidating sidemount, mount and rear mount. Very good.
I've bought his high percentage no gi dvd and his half guard anthology as well. He first hooked me on his youtube free content. His teaching style and DVD structure is hands down the best - its like he can read your mind on the questions youre going to ask in your head to the technique or concept, then answers it. Definitely my favourite teacher in the jiu jitsu world. And him being a fellow aussie is a plus! He is super humble as well always willing to help out if you're stuck in your game. I bought his DVDs at white belt and 3 years into jiu jitsu I'm still constantly going back to refer to sections of his DVDs. Really looking forward to the next 2 instalments of his passing game - more keen on these it than game of thrones.
Great Job, clear explanations, « linking the techniques » is a very good Idea!
