short and precise. picked up good stuff from it
ok vid
Great for wrestling and bjj for a low price. I'm really happy with the purchase.
This has been a very good addition in helping me learn effective takedown techniques to use against my BJJ training partners.
I love how he gets into detail with the UNDERHOOK. would def recommend. A couple days after watching I went and applied it in practice
My team runs an underhook system, this was supposed to be a tune up video... why am I taking notes, why am I just listening to it while I drive? He teaches moves but more so teaches philosophy of why the underhook can be your gateway to tons of moves. And it's things all grapplers can learn, kids and adults. I purchased it because I loved his ****** single video. He did it twice, blew my mind and I am waiting for him to do the hat trick. Whatever is next, I am here for. Like Leo said in Django "Before you had my attention l, but now you have my interest."
Kyle is a very good teacher. The video is structured very well and it's clear a lot of thought went into development. The techniques build on each other. I like that Kyle shows entries into underhook up front and then continues to enter each technique using one of the entry drills.
I’m terrible at takedowns and bought this dvd for jiujitsu. There’s a lot of great content in the DVD, some of it far beyond my skill level. It’s absolutely worth the money, however, you may need to make some adjustments to fit your jiujtsu game. He occasionally references jiujitsu on the series, but it appears to be more geared towards wrestling. It would have been nice for him to have a small section for those of us who **** at wrestling that are “easier” to implement. An example would be that I’m tall (6’5” - 285) and **** at dropping to my knee and getting the duck under or changing direction like he demonstrates in the video. That said, I’m happy with the purchase and will likely by his other content. Would love for him to do a dvd specifically on “wrestling for jiujitsu”
Helped me improve my takedowns a lot.
Great instructional!
