amazing series high lighting some options from closed/full guard. Bia breaks everything down into easy to understand concepts and it's really helped out my game. Lot of good work setting up basic sweeps/submissions with some fun ones like the gogoplata as well. 10/10
I highly recommend this no-gi closed guard instructional for both gi and no-gi. It's not obvious from the title, but this is a closed guard instructional. The techniques work well in both no-gi and gi. Bia emphasizes having multiple attack possibilities from each scenario, so she can adapt to her opponent's behavior. The triangle from closed guard that she teaches is faster and involves less telegraphing than any other triangle I've seen taught by other instructors, such as Roger Gracie or John Danaher. This is also the only instructional I've seen that teaches the Anaconda choke from closed guard. I liked this closed guard instructional so much that I came back and bought Bia's open guard instructional, too. Production Quality: The instructional's lighting is extremely good, so it doesn't matter that both instructor and uke are wearing black in front of a dark gray background. Everything can be seen easily. I never got confused about whose arm or leg was whose. Bia's voice could always be clearly heard. Her voice has a lot of reverb because of the recording environment, but this never bothered me. There is no annoying background noise. The sample videos are an excellent representation of both the video and audio quality of the entire instructional. About the Instructor: With 15 world titles (10 gi, 5 no-gi), Bia Mesquita is tied with Buchecha as the most successful IBJJF world champion of all time. She has more gi and more no-gi IBJJF world championship gold medals than any other female competitor. She is also a 2017 ADCC world champion. At the time I'm writing this review, she is a UFC fighter with a 6-0 MMA record. According to BJJ Heroes, the closed guard is her favorite technique. Total running time: 1 hour, 42 minutes. Alternatives: I own five closed guard instructionals from BJJ Fanatics. All of them are excellent. In terms of the quality of technique taught, I rank them in the following order: 1. The Roger Gracie Closed Guard System by Roger Gracie 2. The World Championship No-Gi Guard System by Bia Mesquita 3. The Gracie Secrets: Closed Guard by Kyra Gracie 4. Side Closed Guard Attacks by Xande Ribeiro 5. Connected Reaction: Clinch Closed Guard by Paul Schreiner
Love this video and all the details

Bia has done it and I believe it!!!
Excellent instructional! Very good to help with guard.
Got this for my daughter to help her get ready for upcoming competitions and it is an amazing instructional from an exceptional teacher and competitor. Very inspiring for her to learn from one of her hero’s. Alternate angles reinforce the teachings. Very clear and well explained techniques. I’m glad we have purchased this.
One of the best instructionals that I have bought, Bia is a GOAT as a fighter but also as a teacher. I fully recommend it to everyone
Awesome techniques. I have taught her gift wrap series from this video to teach our women's class. It was super fun. I especially appreciate her little sneaky pointers on how to trick your opponent to put themselves where the attack becomes possible.
excellent
Highly effective, easy to use techniques! I highly recommend to any looking to improve their guard immediately! I literally use everything in this instructional and its proving effective for me. My daughter loves this as well.
