  I have watched several of lovatos instructionals, and i think his game is Timeless. In this instructional he shows his basic open guard game, and it is very effective and easy to learn.

  I have followed Lovato for many years and purchased a lot of his earlier material when it was only available on DVD. In this Open Guard series, you can see how he has refined, streamlined, and added to a lot of his earlier material. I’ve been training for 15 years, and this series is great for all skill levels and body types. It was nice seeing some of the older concepts still being used along with a lot of additional material creating a complete Open Guard system. If you’re looking to build a solid Open Guard, it is definitely worth purchasing.
