Tiny But Mighty
Nice passes. I hit one of them in the gym yesterday. They are realistic and more old school, which is a benefit. There are some stacking passes as well. Overall, the instructional is valuable.
Tiny But Mighty
There are easy to follow techniques contained in this instructional. Very practical.
pressure passing
good stuff.
Being Small myself.
Being lighter and shorter than 98% of my training partners, the details from Jhenifer help out so much by adding additional pressure passing techniques to my jiu-jitsu.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great for Older Grapplers
After watching this video, I am a fan of Jhenifer Aquino. So much so that I wish she would put out more material (hint, hint). Also, practicing with her for a few months one-on-one would be awesome. I guess an instructional is the next best thing. I noticed that Jhenifer uses all the passes I use: cros-grip/crazy dog/tripod, stack pass/double under, over-under pass, and more. These are passes that I was instinctively drawn to in my beginning grappling days. She might be tiny, but she focuses on some nasty pressure passes. I am just a blue belt, but I have noticed that many women create/use BJJ that progresses through a technique with many minor details. Every part of the body is often involved and adds to the technical power of the overall movement. Part of me does not want to review her instructional, because whenever I find a great video with very few reviews, I feel like I have discovered a secret that other grapplers have not. On the other hand, she deserves success for creating such a complete, but easily understandable passing system. So... This is definitely a top 10 or top 5 video for me. It has improved my grappling a lot.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Incredible Passing Instructional For All
My wife and I, both purple belts at Brazilian Top Team, acquired this instructional to study and drill together. I have to say I am amazed at how valuable this purchase has been for us. We originally got it because my wife is 107 pounds so we felt it would be more efficient to study someone close to her size so we knew the techniques would be useful for her. What I wasn’t expecting was how much it would alter and shape my game as well. This instructional has completely altered the way I play my guard passing. This instructional is more for than just the tiny player, this is a must have for all.
