Very interesting and sometimes novel approach to X guard. A lot of entries, including entries from bad positions, lots of sweeps and recovery tactics. Highly recommendable.
Made me better, love his breakdown
Darragh is an excellent teacher and covers everything clearly. The part I like most about learning the X-guard from him, is that he uses this position so much in competition, so you know he's showing you the real deal of what works at the highest level.
Great tips that I’ve been able to implement straight away
The sections on entries is worth the cost by themselves. Being able to chain entries has elevated my x guard much further
alot of good details
Hey, we all love Marcelo but this instructional is WAY BETTER than any of Marcelo's instructionals. Darragh is a great teacher and explains things clearly. Also, he provides a full system with entries, guard variations, sweeps and troubleshooting. If you want to learn X guard, this is the way.....
This instructional is VERY well presented. Darragh covers many aspects of x-guard entry, retention, sweeps and attacks. Improved my game substantially.
Clear, comprehensive, and concise deep dive into X-guard in the gi.
Super instructif pour ceux qui souhaitent améliorer la X Guard.
It's been 2 weeks since I purchased "Unlocking the x guard" and im already hitting a lot of these techniques in training. Id definitely recommend this to anyone looking to learn or refine their X guard!! :ok_hand:
