Adam does a great job at getting to the point. If you got bad knees, this one is for you !
Very helpful and easier to learn then leg shots
These body lock takedown techniques are awesome. Wheeler is great at explaining!! This instructional has helped my takedown game immensely. Thank you!
Adam Wheeler did not disappoint. It's a great instructional, especially on a daily deal.
Great content ! Helpfull chain wrestling moves and good tips !
Another great instructional by Adam. Keep them coming!
I've utilized the techniques in this video with great success in folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco Roman wrestling, as well as in jiujitsu. I've hit some of the techniques on experienced wrestlers after only studying the instructional.
I bought this instructional with the understanding that it would only serve to add a perspective of greco-roman wrestling and not necessarily overhaul my entire takedown game and it did not disappoint, the only reason I gave it three stars and not more is that it can not compete with the instructionals at higher price points in terms of detail or quality.
A great methodology to takedowns that are pretty safe in comparison to doubles and single leg takedowns. I don't really go for those much anymore after digesting this system
For a guy with really bad knees, this is a great video to learn upper body control and take-down concepts.
With all the takedown videos I’ve seen I like this one the best so far. I really like this video in particular for the amount of techniques it has in it that work in nogi bjj. The warmups were pretty basic but, Like most of the videos out there Ryan Wheeler makes it looks super simple, a lot of his movements are high percentage and easy to preform. I was impressed with the preview and the clips I saw on social media and this video absolutely held up to the previews. The video is a great deal and I’m definaltey going to check out some of his other videos.
Wheeler does a great job in giving you an entire takedown system in this instructional. Very well done!
Excellent instructional for NoGi takedowns.
I picked this instructional because as a tall guy, wrestling shots can be disadvantageous. This gave me options to have good takedown in the clinch and give me some options that fit my body type better.
A very good product that offers multiple technical variations that'll keep your opponent guessing.
Great instructional, thoroughly put together!
Great content and easy to follow. Very good technique and coaching here.
I really like these videos. I've been through them once, plan to study and practice it quite a bit. There's a lot there. Basically a complete no-gi upper body takedown system. Wheeler does a good job explaining the details of the moves and the setups. As a former high-school wrestler, I learned a couple of new techniques from these videos. I kinda wish I had wrestled Greco now...
the instructional covers the upper body takedowns, quite neglected by Bjj practitioners. it do that with a deep knowledge, a great communication style and explaining how to chain the techniques, this last one being the difference between a good and a great instructional.
I've never seen takedowns like these.
I like how Adam explains the warm up drills he does and then shows how they translate into the techniques he presents. I also like the detail and enthusiasm Adam uses when he explains and demonstrates his techniques. Thanks heaps Adam.
Instructional very well done. Easy to follow, practical, effective. Highly recommended
Good ideas, techiniques and drills
This instructional shows a variety of takedowns that can be used for wrestling jiujitsu and MMA .. obviously blend with strikes and submissions. Adam breaks the moves down to an easy to follow method. Now it's time to hit the mats and program the instructions my body.
Great details and most importantly you learn how to chain techniques together. Adam does a great job of walking you through the “why’s” behind the things he’s teaching so you can easily know what to look for in live action and put it in use. Great deal!
