Paul does an incredible job going in depth and explaining the little details I never would have thought about otherwise. I instantly had better control of my training partner the first time I implemented the techniques I learned watching this instructional.

• Simple and effective system, expertly presented

  This is my first of the Zone Jiu Jitsu series and what I really like is that Paul presents a simple but highly effective system around attacking the arms, neck or back depending on what the opponent offers. As usual Paul is thoroughly engaging and enjoyable to watch.

• Highly recommend! Love the north south details!

  Paul delivers so much knowledge in this instructional video, but it's very easy to digest as with all of his other videos. One big plus is the north south choke and north south position in general. I have primarily used side mount, knee on belly and mount as my attacking positions and had neglected north south for quite some time. This video has helped me gain another approach to negating my opponents frames and creating opportunities for attacks.

• Amazing side control system

  P. S. created a great series about side control. First he is explaining very detailed and on point how you can use edges to go through the arms depending on how the edges are locked in. Then you got introduced in propper frames from bottom side control and how to set them up. So in fact really valuable for your defensive/escaping game! Folliwed by teaching you propper shoulder placement and pressure. And then of course when and how to attack the triangle or the far side arm or the north south chokes or the back. Highly recommend!
