So far I've loved everything that I have purchased of Neil's. Shoulder Pin, Half Guard, Full Guard, Adv. Guard, etc... his material is refreshing. He's got a good sense of humor. You can tell he cares about the sport. Seems like a good dude. The course is real interesting the way he does things. It's real unique and you can see how it would be useful. I've been practicing religiously on the grappling ***** in preparation for getting some work done on the mats. Great stuff.

Love Neil and his teaching style. His techniques are unique and effective. I have several of his videos and will continue to buy them. This guard system has helped me develop my bottom game. I have been able to use things in class soon after watching.

Neil demonstrates, as he usually does, how to increase the pressure and threaten the opponent using out of the box concepts and techniques. Here you have his take on the closed guard, as well as the K guard, which is great for sport BJJ and street/MMA. Great stuff!

All of Neil’s instructions are top notch, and this one is no different. Compared to his ground Marshall guard DVD, this feels more like a “part 2” than an advanced DVD, but nevertheless, it is all great material that is useful for anyone at all levels of the game. Neil goes into great detail, and shows techniques and tactics that you can’t find in other instructionals given his background in many different disciplines.

Neil always has a new approach to BJJ and this video is no exception. Great techniques and the K guard is something special which is very relevant to both sport, MMA and self defence. It has really improved my game.

Being a beginner, more than often I'm defending, in guard. The very reason I bought this DVD is to find a method/s to find an attack in my guard once ive solidified my position. The subtle nuances in hip position and controlling my opponents posture to advance my attacks from the bottom. I feel, is very important for not only the beginner but will be an asset as I improve! Yup, that's me on the bottom getting private classes in a familiar position!

For closed guard you can't go wrong with these DVD's. The focus is on no gi, but the principles carry over to go. Coach Neil is a beast. Highly recommended. Ossssss
