I could watch it everyday. I wish I had this instructional when I started to train. I would have avoided so many scrambes, bad positions, injuries... Now, I try to use those techniques as much as possible in my game. Highly recommend it. Thanks to John and BJJ Fanatics. Oss
Excellent
CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR MAKING A VIDEO DIRECTED US THE OLDER PRACTITIONER
John gives you a complete game. Not just playing bottom position, but actually getting there. this includes from guard pulls in addition to escapes. he doesn't assume everything is going to go right for you. it doesn't matter how good your guard is if you can't get there. so John does a fantastic job at helping you get there from bad positions such as mount, bottom side, etc. this is the best gi bottom game on the market. can't recommend it enough.
the wizardry the wisdom. thank you Professor
JD, you've done it again! great techniques and super efficient.
First off John Danaher does another great job per usual. As an athlete getting dangerously close to 40 I've been able to glean a lot of good information from this instructional. Great tips to tweak some techniques and implement a change strategy to better facilitate long term training.
I like his several basic techniques and concepts.

best roadmap for all fighters how want by successful on mat. Invest in yours deeper understanding bottom game!
Depth of instruction is incredible. I pick up something new everytime I watch.
Typical high quality GI instructional by John Danaher, teaching effective techniques with an overriding strategy. The techniques are taught with the necessary detail (e.g. the how and why) to ensure that they will work for you. With so many BJJ techniques available this instructional should assist you to focus your attention on the ones that will make your game better and more enjoyable from the bottom, particularly if you are an older or perhaps a less athletic BJJ student. It is worth noting that John Danaher has tons of credibility and importantly also fits the target market for this product (e.g. mid-fifties with a hip replacement). The instructional has a total runtime of 9 hours and 35 minutes. The video quality is typical of what is filmed at the BJJ Fanatics studio (i.e. fixed camera) and is consistent with the preview (volume 8 chapter 3 – Scissor sweep with Hiza Guruma on standing opponent) and the trailer. The other aspect that I liked for such a long instructional was that there was good rapport between the John Danaher and his ukes, which made it easier to watch.
The thouroughness of Danahers instructionals is out of this world! This one is exceptionally good and really does work for less-than-peak-performance athletes
Clear and thorough, Danaher presents a wonderful game plan for older competitors.
ageless jiujitsu
JD, as usual great content
Really comprehensive gameplan not only for older folks, but for those who start their BJJ journey and want to have a clear idea what to do on bottom in a single package.
Great video even if you are not old. John alway overdeliver.
awesome
As a Older grappler I found this very informative.
Ok,I bought it today and went to the dojo after a random quick overview of the instructional...I felt younger...so after studying the whole instructional I hope I'll fell like Benjamin Button
This is EXACTLY what I needed. I was hesitent to purchase since I already own three Danaher bundles. However, having the focus specifically on what old weaklings like myself need without additional material that's only for the young beasts is INCREDIBLY helpful. Focused Danaher is incredible!
Awesome content from Mr. Danaher as usual. Dealing with bottom game for less athletic which is perfect for me since I started jiu jitsu very late, and I can related to the reason for every technique's selection in this program and how they will help me in making my jiu jitsu better.
