Informative Instructional
This instructional broke down different concepts to keep in mind when attacking on the back. It also covered certain escapes and how to counter them. It was definitely a helpful instructional.

This is a very nice instructional. Ethan communicates his ideas quite well. Lots of neat and onorthodox ideas. This instructional also has a fantastic back escape section that goes well beyond the basic escapes that most people use. Back attacks and escapes are invaluable in bjj. I look forward to implementing these in training. Good value.

Great instructional, nice to see escapes from back body triangle as well as the multitude of back attacks. A lot of material in here, well worth purchasing.

Definitely has some unique stuff on here which I appreciated. I would have liked some more escapes from the choke side down as all of them were demonstrated from underhook side down. But otherwise I enjoyed the content

Ethan could definitely grow as an instructor, but it's obvious that he's talented and could have a good career in coaching. For the hand fighting section alone, I'd give this five stars. Also, some of his techniques are just so creative and a good supplement to over back instructionals. However, for some of the other details, there are some better resources. I wouldn't make this your sole guide to fighting from the back, but it's definitely worth your time.

Ethan Crelinsten is a mastermind of controlling and finishing the back. In addition, you get unconventional ways to escape the back which I’ve never seen explored before. He’s an excellent teacher and I can’t wait to get another instructional from him. A must-have in your collection for exploring the back.

This is a **** of a deal for what is included. Ethan is one of the best nogi instructors out there and has great details for the current meta game. Can't recommend this enough.

Ethan goes over some basic escapes and then shows how to counter them. He shows an interesting system that I hadn't seen before. I was worried this would be the same as Danaher's straight jacket system, but I was happy that it is completely different. Ethan's approach helped me deal with stubborn opponents.

Ive never got an instructional before but have always had a hard time getting submissions on the back. I did a submission only tournament and took everyones back, but didnt submit anyone from there. Something had to change, and while i dont have too hard a time getting to the back, once there i typically get bored failing at chokes so eventually try an ill advised arm bar and lose position. This instructional seemed like it was exactly what i needed, and it was. I bought this instuctional and at the next training session, i tapped both people i rolled with in a rnc, one of which was a brown belt. I cant remember ever tapping anyone except the newest white belts with rnc's before this video. Just a bunch of little details that made a huge difference for me. Video is thorough but not too slow for my taste. I think everyone should get it!
