Lots of material was covered. I got tons of value out of this, the videos were lengthy, but with very useful information. He covers the main finishing mechanics and positions. He also goes over lots of problems that your opponent can give you and how to overcome those problems so that your guillotine will still work. I watched the Marcelo Garcia instructional and even though I'm a bigger fan of Marcelo and I know Marcelo is probably more skilled, this instructional was just far more helpful for me personally. I highly recommend this instructional for guillotines. I even saw Gordon's instructional on guillotines and I prefer this one. Just being honest, and this video was way less expensive.
Aaron's instruction is second-to-none. I picked up a ton of great details on the finishing mechanics and positional application of the high-elbow guillotine AKA the "Marcelotine." One of my favorite aspects of Aaron's instructionals is the way he connects the topic conceptually to virtually all facets of BJJ--far beyond the technique or move discussed.
Awesome offer by an amazing instructor. Definitely a must have for any head hunter
good
Complete instruction, many details.
A. B. delivers an amazing series about the technical/mechanical aspects of the HEG and applications from every common bottom position to top to standing. He covetrs pure kuzushi based entries as well as sweeping based entries. Cristal clear without sugar coating! Highly recommend!
Extremely well organized and filled with helpful details. I’ve landed significantly more guillotines since watching.
I have a terrible guillotine which is bad because I use snap downs and headlocks a lot. This instructional is helping and Aaron is a great teacher.
I've just gone through the first couple of chapters, but I can tell you for sure that this is very well-constructed and detailed instructional. I like it when there is some kind of form to the whole course, from beginning to end, as it feels like it leaves no stone unturned. Aaron is a great teacher which is important too because you'll go through a couple of hours of material here.
I like the details, clarity of explaination.
Really helped improve my guilly game
Good details
Said it all in the title great simple concepts for beginners to advanced translated quickly into my rolls during training
Great instructional video !
If you think guillotines are exclusively for strong guys, this instructional is for you. Aaron deliberately teaches in a way that makes retaining and instantly executing these techniques seemingly effortless. You can tell there's a hint of a Marcello Garcia insight added to the mix. Guillotines from everywhere... I'm taking SOULS with this one!
