Great teacher Great instructional
Many techniques that make use of the lapels to slow down the faster opponent.
Very good for old grapplers
Really helpful - great teacher
nice choke with lapel that you cannot apply immediately
Excellent instructional from a long time Syracuse great!
im really enjoying Mikes videos they have helped my Jiu Jitsu tremendously. they are easy to follow because Mike does such a good job breaking things down to a level that is easy to understand. I watch rewatch then take notes on all three of his videos. I highly recommend them.
good lapel attacks
Love the explanation of not only the technique but the why behind the what in the series. This is a great instructional!
Although I'm not over 40 yet (39yrs old) i have a lot of injuries and this instructional has changed the way I do side control.
Great instruction and many of these moves I have incorporated into my game.
I’m 50! Mike reminds me to just enjoy Jiu Jitsu. Mike reminds me to just be me, to go through the process, to experiment, have fun, tap and be tapped. Seriously I tried his double lapel from closed guard on my buddy who’s 17 years my junior. I tickled his nose with the ice cream cone grip, which put him off. Totally ******* up the finish but as he passed my guard I instinctively pulled off a fundamental Kimura grip, he rolled to escape and I caught him with a threaded kimura. I surprised myself I even knew this! I love Mike’s passionate energy, he really inspires me to keep learning and not give up, even though I know I’ve got to slow down just about everyone I roll with to ensure my gas doesn’t run out. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Mike tying up his Uke and systematically demonstrating how I could evolve and do the same. As long as you spent some time on the mats, BJJ after 40 evolves into BJJ for 50+. Thank you for not writing me off and keeping me current with practitioners definitely more able than myself.
Great instructional 😀👍
Natural born teacher!!
I enjoy controlling and submitting people with the lapel, using the gi as part of my game, there is a lot of slowing down your training partner and controlling their movement.
M.B. shares a cristal clear approach on how to learn and improve fast and sustainably. He shows basically four kinds of chokes in several variations. With your own lapel and your uke's lapel. The moves and techniques are broken down and rebuild very well!
Great instructional Professor Bidwell is well organized, succinct, and to the point Great for all practitioners
This is one of the best courses I have ever analyzed. Whether you're younger or an older practitioner like myself this is one of the best investments you can make to improve your game.
This course is packed with amazing content. I love the way Mike Bidwell explains and teaches each move. He’s super creative and shows amazing technique that is completely understandable and doable at any age or rank. Loved it!!
I like how he explains things so clearly plus the camera pans to show the right angles of the techniques. Well worth the money spent.
Easy techniques for everybody. You don’t have to be flexible or athletic to perform those…. And they work immediately.
Cool, smooth moves. I am not as slick as Mike Bidwell yet, but working on it, This is probably for the more agile older practitioner, but great technique worth understanding 100%.
Mike knows his stuff! Great material not just for 40+ practitioners. Anybody could benefit from this course. Fantastic!
Mike shares pin point techniques that help understanding the possibilities in different scenarios, very VERY clearly explained, bought it about 3 weeks ago, If you are an older guy like me, who from time to time struggles rolling with younger, faster or stronger team mates I guarantee you this will bring your game level Up.
