Great stuff. Well worth it
Great video!
Clear and detailed instruction on practical techniques.
A fantastic. Instructional. I love the way he explains things. One of the best.
I love training in the gi sometimes we get caught up with all the flashy stuff that basics get you further 100% recommended I even catch my professor in some of the chockes
Excellent overview of what it takes to be a purple belt.
I love this version and the 2.0. I found them to be different, but love them both.
It is good for overall concepts.
Waiting to start it!
I can calmy follow the content, causing me use energy better!
This has been my road map to move to my next level. Roy is a top notch artist on this art.
Really good insight into where your game should be for traditional BJJ.
I was looking for a well-laid out curriculum that focused on the salient moves and positions to get my purple belt... I found this set of videos the best instructional for me, primarily because the instructor is very articulate and overall a great communicator
the video class was amazing for me, as it demonstrates the transitions between the most fundamental jiu jitsu positions, as they say the basics that work
I wasn't able to access at first but the customers service did a great job helping me find a way. The content itself is great with great insights. The only thing missing in my opinion is some review of takedowns.
I own the old physical dvd… really good. Old fashioned, old style, but they’re not downsides to me
This video provided focus to bring my BJJ to the next level.
I wasn’t able to access the video at first but the folks at BJJFanatics was very helpful in explaining things to me. Great customer service from BJJFanatics. The video content was great and helped me figure out what mindset I need to achieve a purple belt rank.
I'm currently a blue belt with a few stripes and working my way to the next step in the journey. This has been a really good resource. Good techniques, but focusses more on multiple attacks that chain together from each position. The idea is to see and think more on possible systems rather than single techniques. Really good. My only criticism is that the video and audio quality are slightly sub-par (lots of echoe). And, this video is also not viewable through the BJJ Fanatics app. Only in the browser.
One of the best coach!
Roy Dean is one of the best teachers out there. This is a great instructional.
I truly enjoyed the video, Really having a overall understanding of what a Purple belt should entail, gave me great insight and cleared any guilt of me accepting my purple belt.
A must have for aspiring purple and already purple belt practitioners. Details mentioned clearly with many variations. Recommended...
I have looked around for resources for BJJ training videos, but found that many places require monthly memberships to gain access, which is a problem for me since I like to review the techniques at a slower pace, as well as watch them again and again to get it down. These videos allow me to do just that. I am greatful that BJJ fanatics offers a variety of practitioners to choose from. Thank you guys very much! Keep up the solid work.
