Favorite Takedown Instructions
This truly is one of my favorite takedown instructional. I find success with most of these techniques and drill them often. For those who don’t know, Yuko sama is founder of Snake-pit Japan and one of Sakuraba’s contemporaries and an adversary when younger when they both were on the Japanese pro wrestling circuit. He was trained, inter Alia, by the legendary Akita Maeda, and this pedigree is reflected in his tutelage. The instructional is in his native Japanese with clear subtitles, and the directions are crystal clear. As a guy (49) who started grappling later in life, with “dad strength,” this one has been a game changer. A lot of the guys at my BJJ gym have started pulling guard instead of standing

Fantastic CACC Fundamentals
Coach Miyato covers the Fundamentals of Catch as Catch Can in a easy to understand and learn format. Highly recommended for any beginner.
Good ol catch
You will gain from this. The over voice or dub Is good in this. The teaching goes back to the snake pit Billy Robinson teaching. I wasn't disappointed

This download is awesome. I was specifically looking for takedowns in catch wrestling and this was a recommendation. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I am so glad I did. It's not a laundry list of techniques, but key takedowns and excellent instruction on the basics and how to apply them correctly. I have incorporated these into my training and they work very, very well. If you are looking for some solid catch wrestling takedowns, I highly recommend this download. Yuko Miyato is fantastic!

The content is very good. Doesn't matter if you're new to catch wrestling or a jiu jitsu wizard, this series is perfect for just about everyone. It's much better structured than the Jake Shannon videos as well. Hopefully Mr. Miyato makes more dvds in the future.

Good Video for basics techniques Of Catch Wrestling
The video has English voice over which is nice to follow the techniques when watching them. It goes over the basic foot work and standing controls of catch wrestling.There are more throws than chaining submissions.The defenses and exercises for catch Wrestling.The course .breaks down these fundamentals for these techniques. I would state having strong fundamentals demonstrated in this course will help one build in to other advance techniques
Excellent material
I was a little hesitant on purchasing this download but I am so glad I did. Yuko Miyato does an excelent job breaking down the techniques and demonstrating solid basics. I have already started using them with the guys I train with and we are having a blast. It's not an exhaustive list of all CACC takedowns, but it's a great foundation builder. Worth the buy.

It has really good basics from the grip fighting to the footwork to the posture. There’s a lot of both good concepts and techniques. It’s too bad this guy doesn’t have more stuff; he’s a really good instructor. There are even defenses and troubleshooting. It’s very complete.

The single and double leg take downs work great. This is what you need when your opponent knows the same things you do. Don’t worry about subtitles, the instruction is excellent. Always a good feeling when one instructional make a difference.
