simple to understand, great practical applications. also teaches you how to inversely defend straight ankle locks, my coach hasn't caught me with one since and now just passes my guard instead

Mikey goes into an amazing amount of detail in this video on how to finish foot locks. The instruction is top notch and he answers any questions you might have. I love how he connects the ankle lock, aoki lock and the caio terra foot lock together to make a complete system. This is the best resource available for footlocks.

There are some overlaps but adds more details and positions to his previous foot lock DVD. This became my favorite straight ankle lock instruction in Gi.

Lots of great instructions from different positions and angles to finish the ankle lock. Easy to follow and instructions are very clear.

I’ve seen all Mikey’s footlock/leg lock instructionals and this is his best one yet. There’s a lot of good content that is not seen in his other instructionals. Mikey gets better and better at teaching every time and in this one he seeems to be a peak teaching ability. He goes at a good pace, not too slow not too fast and as always build logically lesson upon lesson. It’s actually just his best instructional period. I’m a big fan of this instructional. I like instructional that build around one technique & one position & give you a system to handle your opponents reactions. This is a perfect example of that.
