The concepts taught here are gold. Nothing fancy but super effective. This has definitely helped me get passed a lot less and attack a lot more. A must for beginners and senior students alike.

This video has been amazing. I was lucky enough to find this instructional early into my white belt. The concepts shown here have been immensely helpful in my progression through green belt. After months of practice with these concepts I am confident enough that I can roll with anyone in my gym up to purple belt and not get tapped out. This instructional has helped me survive on the mat so I can begin to thrive in my rolls. Highly recommend.

Excellent instruction of how a fundamental movement can be expanded into a near universal guard system. Instead of looking for specific solutions to specific problems (giving a man a fish) ,this system allows you to use a simple but very powerful movement in many defensive scenarios (teaching a man to fish).

I've watched a lot of Xande previously... this is all of the best concepts & applications of his guard game. No matter your level or age, Xande's techniques can be used & applied by all, that's what makes this pure gold... furthermore, much of what is covered here can be applied to No Gi game.

I really like that the same concept is used in a number of different applications. I used it in training and had immediate success with it. I would love to see more instructionals of Xande in the same format (application of the same concept in different situations).
