As someone who plays a lot of Del La Riva/Rev DLR already, this is in a world of its own. I've found it to be an extremely effective guard for controlling and sweeping; especially in an MMA setting where keeping out of punching range is obviously important. A great addition for any competitive grappler or fighter.

It’s rare these days to find a guard or skillset your opponent hasn’t seen before, like the Emu Guard. The Emu Guard works in mma (upkick city), nogi and gi. It also blends seamlessly with other open guards like K Guard, Dela Riva etc. Ben’s instructions are concise, but contain the fundamental details needed to execute a technique live. Overall, this set is a bit of a hidden gem and worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of ‘universal jiu jitsu’

Awesome instructional. It has elevated my game with the deep DLR scoop sweep and emu into single leg. Ben Power's ability to conceptually explain each move's purpose, its strengths and application is incredible. Couldn't recommend it enough.
