The perfect control
The EMU guard is the perfect DLR control. Its a cheat for real control, through the locked out knee, into the upper body. Its only weakness would be toe holds, but the control is so good that the position remains viable.
Highly Recommended
This is a really good instructional, Benjamin does a great job of breaking down the emu guard and how to employ it on the mats. I feel this will be a great addition to my game and help me to control my opponents from the bottom position. I can see this guard benefiting all practitioners, young and old, white belt to black belt. I highly recommend it.

Really thorough but focussed too. The Instructions are well described, ordered, easy to understand. I like the instructions for the back up options for when an Emu Guard attempt fails. So I can start using it in my game with confidence because I'll know what to do after failed attempts

A great variation on dela heva gaurd
I have a few dela heva instructionals but this emu gaurd instructional convays the concepts of off balancing your opponent and building up to the better position the best
