Furthermore he offers a lot of great details of how to stay safe in certain spots and how to avoid further progress of your opponent. He also guides to the ideal posture inside in context of timing and situation inside the closed guard.

Great Details on controlling the opponent while escaping, so you don't get passed right after the escape or the escape gets killed.
Good stuff
Helped me greatly to understand how to shut down the opponents ability to **** my escape or how to pass me right afterwards. John Danahers Pin Escapes Series has a lot more Details on mechanics but Bernardos methods have a good control over the opponent throughout the whole escape process!

Professor Bernardo Faria installed an unique instructional! First he is giving an overview of the defnese principles of each position. Then he is giong into certain techniques and after technique one he always provides links to guard recovery and sweeps. Furthermore he offers a lot of great details of how to stay safe in certain defensive positions and how to avoid further progress of your opponent by getting deeper grips or traping one of your limbs additionally and eventually submitting you. He also guides to the ideal posture inside in context of timing and situation inside the closed guard. Highly recommend!!

I use to get tired of getting pinned. I wanted to learn how to escape. I love his teaching style and passion. I got out of North South instantly and shocked my training partners. I learned how to get out of side mount and get half guard for attacks. This is money. Great camera angles and easy to understand.
