Exploring The Empty Half Guard
Professor D. D. P. offers a system which will be kind of a back up system in my game. I like the positions and techniques because most the given ones are working back and forth with very little adjustments. Some of my favourite grips and submissions are right there too.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Helped me develop my half
Helped me develop my half guard fame
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Exploring empty half guard
A great video for BJJ practitioners looking for an edge while rolling. This video works on a a simple idea that can be used in various ways to change what looks like a disadvantaged position into a winning position. A very fresh and interesting concept so highly recommend!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great value for every style of jiu jitsu
Professor D. D. P. offers a very valid mikro system which will be kind of a back up system in my game. I like the positions and techniques because most the given one are working back and forth with very little adjustments. Some of my favourite grips and submissions are right there too so that there is a great flow within it for me. So valuable as an additional escaping toolkit with great offensive potential!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:What is genius?
For me, a genius is somebody who sees something where nobody else do so. Professor Pollaccia developed a complete, easy system from a bad position. It was under the eyes of everyone… only he saw it. Hats off.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:sunglasses:A not so often position taught extremely well
Daniels video is high quality in every regard . Technique, instruction , presentation etc. if your not learning empty half your missing out
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:So, that is how you swept me!
Daniel is a very knowledgeable Black Belt and practitioner. I enjoy rolling with him and learning his game to add to my own. Recently, in a roll he used the empty half guard to sweep me, and when I asked him about the sweep he told me he had this instructional on BJJFANATICS. I'm very glad to have bought the instructional and learned the game of empty half. Not only will I be more aware of defending it empty half, but I will be using it to sweep opponents also! What I enjoyed about this instructional is how direct to the point each technique is presented. You can learn a very important system in about 40 minutes with no extra talking or nonsense. This instructional is very pure and straightforward. My last point to make is this instructional is also a guard retention tool because when you learn it you will catch passers in the final moment of the pass with empty half-guard. If you have a strong guard but want an extra tool, buy this. If you have a ****** guard and everyone passes you, buy this. White - Black belt recommended! I wish I learned this years ago!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Incredible Strategy to Add to Your Game!
This course is incredible! I've been adding this to my game over the last few months and have had great success! This is something no one expects and as I practice this more and more I am only finding more and more success with it! I highly recommend this video for everyone at any level!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Its like a new element
This instructional is quite different than most I have seen where it's a position you do not see often but you can get to it from multiple situations. The key to brilliance is simplicity and there isn't much that is complicated in this series. Which means the percentage of hitting these moves feels incredibly high. I am going to spend more time with this position and allow myself to be slightly vulnerable to give these techniques a proper shake down. But so far I love what I see and the secondary leg being the force to create imbalances and prevent guard passes was obvious and made me wonder, why didn't I think of that. This one was exciting to learn from.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Unique, innovative, and strategic!
Professor Dan Pollaccia really knocked it out of the park! This instructional program is not only incredibly unique, it also has an outstanding amount of contingencies embedded within it! The techniques are well articulated and explained in a manner which creates connections to familiar techniques (e.g. a “hybrid” lock down). Moreover, the techniques are demonstrated from a variety of vantage points (making the deconstruction of techniques that much easier). Instead of transitioning to traditional half guard recovery tactics, this series will build your confidence to test your mettle with an innovative half guard! Well done Professor!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Mind blown and Innovative Reversal
This course will blow you mind, very innovative escape and reversal. highly recommended for whoever want to add interesting techniques to your escape bible.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Simple Ninja Move
This is really simple and sneaky especially if you get stuck at bottom half guard… he teaches all the different variations and entries really good teaching :call_me_hand:
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Brilliant
Brilliant instructional! Interesting position with a lot of opportunities for sweeps and submissions. Definitely will be adding many of these techniques to my game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Unique position that can easily be added to someone's game
The empty half is not something that I was very familiar with. I have been training in jiu jitsu over ten years and had really never seen this used anywhere. The trailer and title of this video caught my attention and I decided to give it a chance. These are definitely techniques that can fit into my existing game, this is a position that I can see myself transitioning to when need be. The attacks from the empty half are very simple and the entries for it are everywhere. Definitely worth taking the time to study and add in to your game, regardless of what your game is. These techniques can help and give you more depth in sweeps and submission attacks from bottom.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Detailed and useful instructional
This is an excellent instructional. Definitely a unique position that hasn't been seen that much. But now it's something I'm playing with and working in my game a lot more now. The techniques I have used from this video have been highly effective in my training so far!
