Nice Details
The details are informative and nice. I appreciate how often he shows the technique from different angles, so you can really see what is going on.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Simple, but effective solutions
I am a judo black belt and a BJJ purple belt. This instructional provides techniques that are effective across both. Often, techniques are not cross-applicable between judo and BJJ, but I found these are good solutions for dealing with pressure-heavy gi players in both sports.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:nice half guard

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Japanese Style of Half Guard
As the same Japanese, I am honored of watching this video. Thanks to this content, I can expand my half-guard game. ARIGATOUGOZAIMASU, Iwasaki san!
Solid
Unique take on a classic position
Great reverse half guard
This is a reverse half guard must have. Masahiro has a special set of techniques for that particular position that can be a nightmare for fellow half guard player.
so cool
very cool instructional, masahiko does some really unique things in half guard and his bridge sweeps & reverse half guard sweeps are especially phenomenal, brilliant stuff
One of the best and most complete half guard instructionals!
M. I. created an straight forward half guard instructional where he connects the half guard with the deep half guard and the reverse half guard. He points out how to get the underhook via shoulder-elbow pillar. Then he starts from beeing flattened and utilizing the bridge sweep/trap and roll. Then he is going over the triple threat of half guard. Furthermore it is about deep half guard. When and how to go to and attack from. And how to deal and work from reverse half guard when you need to. Utilizing sewwps and back takes. Guard pulls and setups are covered too. His teaching is on point and oacked with crucial key details for maximum effiency. He also emphazises the propper use of your feet to position your hip propperly and optimize your hooks too.
